Mizusashi (jarre à eau) de forme cylindrique à col légèrement évasé en grès brun avec traces de cendres et coulée beige. A SHIGARAKI MIZUSASHI [WATER JAR] EDO PERIOD, 17th CENTURY The deep circular water jar of coiled construction with slightly everted rim and wide inner rim, pale brown indented side and inverted foot rim, the body with dripped green ash glaze falling short of the foot with white feldspar inclusions, silver lacquer repairs to rim and inner rim, dripped white glaze to the interior, black lacquer cover.
